Why do I wake up here?

I think back at a time I woke up in the same bed every night. I remember how comfortable it was, how nice it was to cuddle up against a body and make her breakfast. I miss it, yet I can't seem to fully remember it. I have been "Here & Now" long enough that yesterday seems gone. Every idea of the past feels simply as that, an Idea. It does not feel like I lived it, it feels closer to a lie, then reality. As I woke up this morning I looked at the ceiling and thought, why I was here. Not why I existed but simply why I was in this room in Boston, right this moment. I thought about how I have thought this before. I put myself in the place where I thought it before and It became a story. I realized all my contact with my past was a desperate desire to keep it alive. Trying to keep it awake as an idea in my mind. I call my past and think about my past, almost as if I do not want to forget it. Making sure I will always remember. Can I be here now, fully and remember?

I remember hearing a story of Jesus I believe from the "Urantia" Books, where Jesus saved some people from a stanpead of horses. I am not worried about how or what happened, but after he walk away from a mess of horses as if it did not happen. If its a true story or not what I understood from the story was the only reason we remember, is because we are afraid Now will not hold our safety. As if we need to save all of our memories in a safe in our minds, so we will not be vonerable and at risk now. We need to keep our wisdom and our learned ideas, so we can service. As if we do not trust that what we need, will be here now. With the course we are learning that the ego can not teach it self out of the world. Everything I know and do is the ego, from the past framing the life of now. The only way out is in an outside source. The voice of God is showing us a way out every moment. He is an out side source, The aspect that realizes its whole and perfect. Can we remember and forgive the past?

A wonderful video is on youtube of Mother Therasa (posted below) she talks deeply about how forgiveness is not whole with out forgetting. It takes compassion to forgive, but deep humility of self to forget. The course talks about forgiving the world, now if it is true that forgiveness is as forgetting, he also speaks of forgetting the world. could we do this quickly in a brush of a hand. of course we could but we are not. We believe it holds great value even us as course student, try every way possible to keep the world in our Ideas of heaven. Yes forgiveness seems to be a gradual process, as we slowly let go and value less. And the first to dissolve away is the past, but what does it look like as it desalves away. Will I notice it as it falls?

It is funny how much in life we go on forgetting that we forgot all that we forget. You think you would notice as it is forgotten, but you do not. You only notice as you remember again, and you had a period of time where you did forget. But what if the piriod never ended and you forgot it forever, then would you notice? I think of many times, people bump up to each other, and knowing me I am sure there was a time I was upset at someone for bumping into me a little hard in the elevator. But have I forgiven them? If I have forgotten it, yes. Think of that yourself. So quickly do we think we need to forgive when something is done wrong to us, yet you so quickly forgive, and forget when something good happens. So underneath all of this stuff, I am pointing out that you forget allot. Could we apply this to the whole world?

The course talks allot about what forgiveness does, and how it looks. It sums it up in one line, Forgiveness does Nothing. As if to have immediate forgiveness, is to have no reaction to it. To see the illusion as illusion immediately. Then in learning this application, gradually is what you do, slowly desalved with how you feel. Meaning that the physical past starts blending into the peace of mind you hold. You can't have peace of mind and the attacking or rough past in your mind. That is a contradiction and is impossible to have peace when the thoughts of no peace exist. The way to peace is then through forgiveness because it is forgetting all that is not worthy of peace. If it does not make you peaceful do you want it at all?

The true choice to be at peace its the choice to forget everything you think you know, and what you think you are. Your self concept is made and formed by a life of pain and trying to be at peace with it. Your body in formed off of an idea that you are this pain. To have peace in the world is not possible, you must forget the world to have peace. So why am I here, when I am "at peace in heaven"?

This whole time, I have not said you must forgive and forget a world that is real, or is existing at all. This whole time I have said you must apply this to the world. Meaning in your mind. The world is your belief system, your self is a belief system. All that you must forgive is yourself, and your ideas. your ideas of everything, question your reality even more then you do. Ask yourself why you do what you do. Ask yourself as you do them, Why do I do them if I am in heaven. Question everything and bring them to me, I will answer them for you. What is there to do, but forgive them. There is no process, or technique but only that forgiveness does nothing.

So "Why do I wake up here?" Because you believe you do. You believe in the world, the body, the self. You believe in a place, and even a center. It is not what you believe in, but that you believe. The world is there, because you wish to believe in something, yet you hide the reason it was made from yourself. You assume the world is complicated, yet it only is because you wish to hide from it. You do not want to be free of the world or else you would already be so. You wish to remain in it and in pain, that is why you do. Yet do you want to know answers, or Devan do you want to be answers. Give up on KNOWING the way of Jesus, for his way is forgiveness and that way is doing nothing. Could you ever KNOW doing nothing? You can only do it, by not doing it. It is the only test, you need not to study for. The answers are in the question, and the question is silence. Go be still and know that i am God.

Yes this world is a test, a test of God remembering God. A test with no threat or torture. A game of forgiveness and release. "Can I loose myself and find myself again?" you asked. Can I deceive myself in every possible way and still find the un-findable. How could there be a threat in finding the kingdom of heaven? YOU CAN NOT FIND IT, because it never was lost. YOU only hide it from yourself, in the last place you will ever look, as you trained yourself to look where it is not. But "why" is the reason of the answer. The answer only is, because there is a question, but when you are the answer why is there a question. Therefor there is no answer because the question is insane and only played in games. Can you play games, and be happy? Yes when you make the game a happy game, yet you insist on the game being a game of sadness. the game it self is the choice to experience sadness. But ask yourself "Why play a game of Happiness, when you can really be happiness."
